British Toxicology Society (BTS) Annual Congress in Cardiff, Wales, 20th to 22nd April – https://www.thebts.org/bts-annual-congress-2020/
This annual congress has sessions covering all aspects of toxicology for the Toxicologist, Safety Scientist, and Healthcare Professional and brings together individuals from academia, industry, the NHS, regulatory science, and governmental agencies with a shared interest, enthusiasm and passion for the science and practice of toxicology.
European Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (EEMGS) Annual Meeting in Porto, Portugal, 6th to 8th May – https://www.eemgs2020.eu/en/
This event will address the advances in genetic damage and repair assessment and uncover new approaches to the study of mutagens and substances of related biological activity in the human environment, particularly those of concern to Public Health. The congress will be comprised of keynote lectures given by world-renowned scientists scholars, in addition to oral and poster sessions. State of the art developments in different fields of environmental mutagenesis, new methodologies and developing expertise will be covered during presentations.
Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) Europe 30th Annual Meeting in Dublin, Ireland, 2nd to 7th May – https://dublin.setac.org/
Focussing this year on the theme of Open Science for Enhanced Global Environmental Protection, the annual SETAC Europe conference combines emerging environmental hazard and risk science with related policy topics. SETAC Dublin is a 5-day event featuring a variety of training, networking and learning opportunities for those interested in emerging research, regulatory developments and the latest methodologies in environmental toxicology and chemistry. Between 2,000 and 2,500 scientists, assessors, regulators and managers from academia, business and government, representing an average of 60 countries, provides a unique networking opportunity and a chance for cross-collaboration long after the closing session.
PFA delegates will be presenting two posters in addition to a platform presentation.

The congress theme “combined efforts in quest of safer chemicals and medicines” reflects the congress programme including a variety of topics dealing with safety of drugs and environmental chemicals, new and emerging technologies, personalised medicine, human health effects caused by exposure to chemicals as well as safety issues arising from climate changes.
