New REACH training programmes from PFA and Toxicology Consulting Ltd
February 4th, 2014
Peter Fisk Associates Ltd. and Toxicology Consulting Ltd. have announced the first of a series of two-day courses centred on the REACH Regulation, specifically aimed at manufacturers of chemicals. The first course is running on the 18th & 19th of March 2014, in Manchester (UK), focussing on the extended Safety Data Sheet (eSDS) and exposure modelling for human health and the environment.
Day one is focused on the extended Safety Data Sheet (eSDS). Expert trainers will provide interactive sessions covering the content, format and interpretation of an eSDS. The course content is aimed at technical staff that need to interpret, apply and produce the information in eSDS.
Day two deals with exposure modelling, Derived No Effect Levels (DNEL) and Predicted No Effect Levels (PNEC). This is suitable for anyone in industry who wishes to acquire a deeper understanding of how safe exposure levels for humans and the environment are derived and how exposure in the work place and the environment is estimated.
To best facilitate learning and interaction the sessions are designed for small groups, with limited spaces available. For registration and further information, please follow the link to 2014 training courses.
PFA also offers tuition on a range of other topics and is happy to tailor courses according to each client’s specific requirements. To find out more about the available modules, please visit our main training pages.
