Job Vacancy – Regulatory Chemist – PFA Ltd – initially 6 month temporary contract

March 22nd, 2021

Peter Fisk Associates Ltd (PFA) is part of the PFA group of companies. The PFA group provides high quality scientific, technical and policy support for the chemicals industry, related manufacturing industries, regulatory authorities and government organisations.

We currently have a vacancy for a Trainee Regulatory Consultant, initially for a period of 6 months with the possibility of extension to 12 months or a permanent position. The role will involve working as part of a team on developing technical documentation required for regulatory submissions under the EU and UK chemicals regulatory systems.

The position is suitable for applicants who already hold a minimum BSc in Chemistry or a related discipline and are available to start work in May 2021. No previous experience is necessary, and training will be provided as needed, but some understanding of the REACH Regulation and Classification for Labelling and Packaging Regulation would be an advantage. Working on several different projects, your work will involve supporting our senior scientists with tasks on scientific and administrative aspects of regulatory compliance, so you must be organised and flexible. Keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential for the role.

To be eligible for this role you must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the initial 6 month period will be based working from home at a UK address. Should the contract be extended then the possibility to relocate to our head office in Whitstable, Kent will be considered.

Please apply in writing with a covering letter and CV to info@pfagroup.eu

The closing date for applications is 14th May 2021.  Interviews will be held by video conference during May.
