EUROTOX September 2014 conference in Edinburgh
June 5th, 2014
The European Societies of Toxicology (EUROTOX) are holding their 50th congress in Edinburgh on the 7th -10th September 2014. The four-day event will cover a range of topics, including immunotoxicology, integrated testing strategies, biomonitoring of xenobiotics, and approaches to characterising uncertainty in hazard and risk assessment. The aim of the conference is ‘to advance science for human and environmental health’, and serves as a meeting point for toxicologists from throughout the world. Research findings and issues for discussion will be presented through lectures, workshops, and interactive poster sessions.
PFA will attend the EUROTOX meeting this year. Our expert team of toxicologists have in-depth knowledge of human health hazard assessment, gained from work under the REACH framework. We provide services to meet the toxicology requirements of the biocidal, cosmetic and pharmaceutical regulations. PFA is also able to advise on the prediction of toxicokinetic behaviour (Absorption, Distribution and Excretion) of xenobiotic substances based on their physical and chemical properties.
