April 17th, 2020
The PFA Group is pleased to announce that Dr Emma Jack has joined us in the Brussels company.
Emma brings over 15 years of environmental expertise to PFA where she will lead on managing REACH projects on petrochemicals, developing and strengthening our risk management team, and growing our environmental and chemical policy projects. Her experience in working with international regulatory agencies in both Europe and North America brings depth of understanding of the regulatory and policy landscape for environmental protection, compliance and substance management to PFAs Brussels team.
Emma has spent over 10 years managing complex environmental projects for private and government clients, developing her skills in multi-stakeholder management, budgeting, scoping and project strategy. Emma has worked with global petrochemical consortia and developed environmental strategies for their REACH registrations, representing them at ECHA and with European competent authorities, she has proven to be a “quick study”, acquiring a sense of the critical issues involved with individual substances or categories of chemicals.
In addition to her scientific skills, Emma also bring a legal perspective to this role having recently completed a Master of Environmental Law (which she did at night!) We look forward to her working with us on the critical and comparative analysis of chemical and environmental policies for our authorisation work.
